Welcome to the Board of Trustees
The current board of trustees is composed of six members of the local school community, the school principal and a teacher representative and secretary. Most members of the board have been elected directly by the community to represent them; a couple of further board members have then been co-opted by the board to fulfil particular roles. All are volunteers.
The board represents the school community and is responsible for the governance of the school. As a board we set the general direction of the school through the creation of school policies. The principal is then responsible for the management of the school. This requires the principal to handle the day-to-day running of the school and to implement the board policies through curriculum plans, school procedures etc.
