Haere Mai ki te Kura o Koromatua- Welcome to Koromatua School

I warmly welcome you to our school website. I hope you find it useful and informative.
Children increase their chances of learning well when there is good communication between school and home, and when both home and school are on the same educational page. Caregivers and school staff share the same goal, the positive growth and development of our children- academically, physically, socially and emotionally.  As is often said, 'It takes a village to raise a child'.

Thank you parents and local community for the support you give to the school through sending us your precious children, attending school events and parent-teacher meetings, and for supporting the PTA/Whanau Group and teachers with running events, providing transport, supporting homework and doing the host other things that you are involved with.

Our school motto is: "Te Pono me Te Aroha. Truth and Love". This motto expresses the spirit by which all staff at Koromatua School endeavour to support the growth and development of your children. It is our privilege as school staff to be involved in the education of your children.

Ko te mea nui- Ko te aroha.

Nigel Farthing
